Neglegt... Not good for your self esteem.

I'm sorry my poor blog. Almost two months without a post, not even a note. I've been neglecting you. Will you ever forgive me?

As to my readers... I'm sorry for that too. I promise I'll write to you more often.

What? You want to know what my excuse is? Why I've been away for so long? Okay, I admit it. I've started another blog. I like it. I wanted to make two, so... GO CHECK IT OUT!

Buttercup Bag from Made by Rae (Pictured Left)

Patchwork Belt from Not Quite Vintage (I had a 1 1/2 size d-ring and it was a little small, I would go with the 2 inch for that.) (Pictured Right)

Here's another tutorial for patchwork belts, choose whichever fits your style better. (From the Juicy Bits blog)

P.S. Congrats to Misty who just got her mission call... Guatemala: Woot woot!

Mother's Day- 'o9

Happy Mother's day to all of the great mothers out there! No matter who you are or what you do, I know a lot of people appreciate it!

If you're not a mother, thank her:

AND Make the trip if possible to give a hug to her:

And even give this future mother a hug too!

(Sister)

I couldn't find a good enough picture!

And last, this is a tribute to the mothers in my life... I have about fifty. Thanks for watching out for me, being a great friend, and always being there for me!

I love you! (Not all of you... just my mothers)

Tastebook- YUM!

I found a new time-waster... (quit now if you do not want to be thoroughly entertained...) It's a new site I've become fascinated with recently. You can look up any recipe, and it will search each recipe site. You can upload your own... and then compile each dish you like into a book you create. How awesome is that! And, at what I believe is a pretty decent price.

Link HERE

Picture here:

What the cookbook looks like

Here:

The recipe page format, front and back pages: different prices, for different recipes

$19.95: book and 25 recipes
$29.95: book and 50 recepies
$34.94: book and 100 recepies (best deal)

and last picture here:

There are so many pictures you can choose for the front of the recipe book. I wasted a lot of time just looking at them all.

HAVE FUN!!!

Happy Easter!

I hope you've had plenty of this:

While hanging around these:

Snowmen family in TX by _dai_
(family, NOT snow!)

and remembering Him:

I hope you're enjoying a wonderful Easter Sunday, and I hope that you've also had a chance to remember what the day is really about. (Are you remembering?) Take time to consider the blessings you have in your life, the chance that you have to do everything you've got to do! Enjoy life! Appreciate life! Take deep breaths, and consider the lilies!

Oh! And if you're feeling crafty, take a look at this.

We're Going to the Closet...

Does anyone remember the show Zaboomafoo? Wow. When I was a kid, I swear that was my absolute favorite T.V. show. I love it.

Does anyone else have a favorite childhood show?

Last one! I promise! (at least for now...)

I'm bored, I have a computer, and I'm having fun. Don't burst my bubble.

Europe!

I love Europe. Maybe it's just because it's a far off land, I've never been there or some strange reason like that... I just do. And, as you've seen in the last post, I had a lot of fun with the Mosaic Maker, so I made one for EUROPE!!! Enjoy!

Pretty Pictures!

I don't usually do these things, but I've been quite bored, so enjoy! (No one is required to do this... but it's pretty fun, I have to admit)
  • Flickr Search: http://www.flickr.com/
  • Using only the first page, pick an image.
  • Copy and paste each of the URLs for the images into fd’s Mosaic Maker (http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/mosaic.php).
  • Save the image and blog it (but only if you want).

Merry St. Patrick's Day!

Why is 'Merry' only used for Christmas? And in England, not even there! Merry is happy, in a more sophisticated way. I enjoy it, and it makes me feel Christmas-y. So, that is what I will say!

Merry St. Patrick's Day!

Don't forget to wear your green!

Procrastination

pro·cras·ti·nate
v. pro·cras·ti·nat·ed, pro·cras·ti·nat·ing, pro·cras·ti·nates
v.intr.
To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness.
v.tr.
To postpone or delay needlessly.

Can't live with it... Should live without it... but I can't. Yes, yes, I do procrastinate, in fact, that's what I'm doing right now. I haven't done my reading (Huck Finn for those of you that have seen me struggling my way through it... and no, I still haven't finished it) and I'm quite enjoying the freedom from Mr. Twain... :)

I don't mean to promote this horrible habit of mine, but only shout out to all the people who also procrastinate... you know who I'm talking about... (Cough, cough, JAMIE! cough...) Where did that come from? You know, cough is spelled quite strange. Since when did gh make an f sound. No wonder I suck at English... OH WELL!

Have a nice day!

Remember: A day without procrastination is a productive day! (Proof)

Day of Love 2009

I hope you have a loverly day of hearts flowers and excessive pinkness...

Oh, and I'm just a little excited because I have no school tomorrow! Woot Woot!

"We are so glad you came. Bye-bye now. Bye. Bye-bye. Please remember to discard all candy wrappers and popcorn containers in the nearest trash recepticle. Thank you. Okay, bye-bye now. Bye-bye! Bye! Okay....are they all gone? Is-is everybody gone? Huh? Good. Oh, my gosh, my cheeks are killing me! I can't keep smiling like this anymore, I am exhausted! I think I need a break."

First person to tell me where that came from wins a secret prize! :)

Monday... ugh

Another Monday has come and (almost) gone. Thankfully. Who agrees that Mondays are like giant fun-sucking vampires. Anyone?
You've just come from a refreshing Sunday with friends family and NO work... right into the busiest day of the week... nothing like a good old Monday to ruin the beginning of a week!
But then, tomorrow's Tuesday... a step towards the good side. But also the day teachers make EVERYTHING due... and I mean EVERYTHING...
Wednesdays are better, but you're stuck in the middle of the week.
Thursdays give you hope... the next day is Friday.
Friday mornings are almost depressing. You're so close to freedom that you can almost taste it. But it's just out of reach.
Friday nights- my personal favorite
Saturdays are only good after all the work is finished, then it becomes all fun and games.
And last but certainly not least are Sundays, restful, peaceful, non-eventful, and any other good words ending in ful. I like them, a whole darn lot... but then we're back to Monday... again.

But this post is to a fantastic week for you all... Monday's over! It's not going to get worse! Good luck!

Something Random because I haven't Blogged for a While

Like the title says, this is just something random that I'm blogging about because I haven't for a while, and I have nothing else to do! :) Wow. That's just scary, I need more sleep. If only you could see me now... (I look mentally handicapped, while typing frightening things. Goodnight!

Happy New Year's!

It's a brand new year, with resolutions to be made, (resolutions also to be broken) new people, new places, full of newness. We are rushing to get everything done before school, or work comes back into play, and I invite you to take a minute to chill. Sit down, relax, drink a nice cold glass of milk. Or water. Or whatever you like to drink. Keep the distractions down, gone if possible, and just rest.

If you are reading this right now, you probably are thinking of yourself. Sitting at the computer, reading my useless ramblings, you're on your way to your goal! Just do nothing for a moment, even if it hurts. It's good for you.

Oh! And remember! Happy New Year!
